    Books from the home library of the Tampere-based musician Juice Leskinen, along with other exhibits related to his life and work.

    The library café, serving coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages as well as sweet and savoury pastries, is open from 18:00 to 22:00. Only card payment accepted.

    Come explore the Vapriikki Photo Archives and meet its staff! This year, the photo and discussion topic is Tampere at the turn of the 20th century. Vapriikki Photo Archives is located at the southern end of Vapriikki, entrance through a separate door — follow the Night of the Museums signs.

    Hosted by Academic Gamers of Tampere, this market is full of games just waiting to find a new owner! For every game you bring, you can choose one game from the table to take home. Computer games, console games, board games, tabletop role‑playing games, card games — any kind of game is welcome as long as its ownership can be physically transferred. However, we cannot accept pirated copies, broken games, or games in poor condition. You may also leave your game(s) on the table as a donation. The game swap market follows age ratings, so please bring an ID. Finnish Museum of Games, 2nd floor.

    Hockey Hall of Fame Finland organizes a raffle where you have a chance to win an EHT game‑worn hockey jersey used by #7 Valtteri Pulli. The lottery box is located in the Vapriikki entrance hall.

    The Mystic Revelation of Teppo Repo is a unique and fascinating ensemble (Otto Eskelinen, Arwi Lind, Eero Tikkanen) whose music draws on Finno‑Ugric traditions, shamanistic and archaic soundscapes, as well as jazz and folk music.

    Digitalisation shapes all aspects of life in the 2020s — how we communicate, work, learn and entertain ourselves. But how can digital content be preserved in museum collections? Tuuli Ahlholm, a specialist in digital heritage at the Postal Museum, presents the Digital Life project by the Logi Museums, which explores and develops methods for preserving born-digital culture and documenting everyday digital life.     AT 18–22 STREET PAINTING (SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS)
    In this popular street painting event, visitors are once again invited to create street art in the inner courtyard of the Finlayson area together with young artists and art students. Finlayson Art Area provides the paints and painting tools – please wear clothing that is suitable for painting. Age recommendation: 5+. Starting point is on Finlaysoninkuja, at the entrance to Himmelblau. Note: The street painting event can take place only if weather and conditions allow.

    AT 18–22 COLLAGE WORKSHOP (NONSTOP)
    In this nonstop art workshop running throughout the evening, participants can create their own artworks using collage techniques. Collage is an inspiring method in which different materials are combined into one piece, and no prior experience is needed. All materials are provided by the museum. The workshop is suitable for all ages. Instructor: visual artist Inka Hannula.

    AT 19, 20, 21 PERFORMANCE: CIRCO AEREO: CLOSED EYES
    This captivating performance leads the viewer from moment to moment as live visual art, acrobatic movement, and sensuous music intertwine into a magical world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Performers: visual artist Eveliina Hämäläinen, circus artist Mika Kaski, and singer-musician Katja Slotte. Director: Sanna Silvennoinen. Duration: approx. 15 minutes.

    Circo Aereo is Finland’s first and longest-running contemporary circus group. Their artistic work and productions have played a central role in developing new circus into an independent art form in Finland and in the international breakthrough of Finnish contemporary circus in the 2000s. The group has performed in over 40 countries.

The story of the Finnish Boxing Museum – why a rare boxing museum was opened in Tampere 35 years ago? Interesting stories about Finnish boxing heroes from the 1930s to the present day.     In 1966, Tampere-based Commercial Counsellor Kalle Kaihari acquired a Plymouth Barracuda. The car’s current owner, Pertti Kaihari — Kalle Kaihari’s grandson — will present this legendary vehicle! Location: outside the museum, in Väinö Linnan aukio.

    Come and discover books and other treasures from past decades at bargain prices! Flea market is hosted by the volunteers of Werstas. Location: outside the museum, in Väinö Linnan aukio. Cash and card payment accepted.

    Youth media RARE’s DJs Nasty Nikke and RIMPELÄ bring rave vibes to the Steam Engine Museum. Dark and groovy sounds from deep house to techno and breakbeat. Location: Steam Engine Museum.
