    STEP ON THE BRIDGE AND GUIDE THE SPACESHIP TO SAFETY!

    In the Odysseus simulation, you and other visitors get to pilot the ESS Odysseus spaceship through dangerous space, escaping hostile Machine army. This interactive experience takes you to the bridge of the spaceship, where decisions can decide the fate of the ship and its crew. The simulation is set in the world of the Odysseus live-action roleplaying game (LARP), more than 800 years into the future. A human-populated colony has come under attack by an AI-led Machine race, and survival will require bold decisions and seamless cooperation. There are loud sounds and lights. A new round begins every half an hour, with entry on a first-come, first-served basis. Duration 30 minutes.

    NIGHT OF WONDERS AND PECULIARITIES IN RULLA

    During the Night of the Museums, we are wondering and pondering in Children’s Cultural Centre Rulla. In the Näpsä’s exhibition What on Earth, you can do small searching quests and investigate who is adventuring in the exhibition’s fairy-tale worlds. In Rulla’s art workshop, you can design peculiar and funny creatures.

    AN ARTIST´S LIFE – TOVE JANSSON, A GUIDED TOUR FOR TEENS AND ADULTS

    The tour looks back at Jansson´s career and the biographical milestones and relationships that shaped her artistic journey. Jansson was a painter, illustrator, cartoonist, writer, comic strip artist and scenographer, but she is best known as the famed creator of the Moomin characters. The tour starts at the museuym´s lower floor by the Observatory.

    THE STORY OF THE MOOMIN BOOKS – A GUIDED TOUR FOR TEENS AND ADULTS

    Combining literary and artistic analysis, we highlight intriguing details about Tove Jansson´s Moomin illustrations, share stories about the making of the tableaux, and interpret excerpts from the books. Tour starts at the museum´s upper floor.
