Museum Centre Vapriikki: Mineral Gallery

Selected stones from Tampere Mineral Museum, a public favourite, can be admired in a exhibition in Vapriikki’s Gallery space in 2025-2027. The permanent exhibition is still waiting for its place in Vapriikki, and will open in the next few years.

The Mineral Museum’s collection is the largest, most impressive and colourful private collection of stones in Finland, including cut and rough gemstones, building and decorative stones, and synthetic stones. There are also samples of useful minerals, ores and metals, as well as meteorites, fossils and dinosaur eggs.
