Himmelblau Printmaking Studio and Gallery

Himmelblau Printmaking Studio is Finland’s leading professional printmaking workroom. At Himmelblau, the artworks are brought to life and displayed to viewers: we exhibit the production of artists in our own gallery and shed light on their visual origins through articles, pictures and publications. Himmelblau Printmaking Studio and its gallery space for changing exhibitions are located at the Finlayson factory area, by the Tammerkoski rapids.

TEXO70 – anniversary exhibition of textile art

The theme of the anniversary exhibition of the Association of Textile Artists TEXO is colour. Colours shape texture, breathe through the material, and come to life on constructed surfaces. Working with colour is a continuous interaction between the material, the environment, and the viewer.

The anniversary exhibition presents more than 50 artworks by 30 artists. It includes sketches, finished artworks, and commercial products, which together form a temporally and thematically layered whole.
